JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Kitchenware Demonstrators on a long-term part-time basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and demonstrating kitchenware and home appliance products in a retail environment. This role involves interacting directly with customers, explaining product features, answering enquiries and assisting customers in making suitable purchasing decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide friendly, professional and excellent customer service in a retail environment.

• Approach and engage customers to understand their needs, preferences and requirements.

• Demonstrate and promote kitchenware and home appliance products to potential customers.

• Explain product features, functions, benefits and proper usage clearly to customers.

• Perform simple cooking demonstrations where required to showcase the functions and benefits of kitchenware products.

• Answer customers’ questions and provide accurate information about products, pricing and promotions.

• Encourage customers to try and understand the products and assist them throughout the purchasing process.

• Create a positive shopping experience and maintain a professional image of the brand.

• Set up, organize and maintain product displays and demonstration areas.

• Ensure products and demonstration areas are clean, neat and presentable at all times.

• Monitor customer feedback and provide relevant information to the Sales and Marketing team.

• Update the team regarding sales performance, customer responses and product feedback.

• Assist with stock arrangement and handling of products when required.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Singaporeans and Permanent Residents only.

• No prior experience is required; candidates with no retail or sales experience are welcome to apply.

• Students looking for long-term part-time work are welcome.

• Training will be provided for suitable candidates.

• Friendly, pleasant and cheerful personality.

• Well-groomed and presentable appearance.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Comfortable approaching and interacting with customers.

• Able to understand customer needs and handle different types of personalities professionally.

• Able to explain product information clearly and confidently.

• Comfortable performing light cooking demonstrations when required.

• Physically fit and able to carry and handle products weighing approximately 5–15kg.

• Responsible, reliable and willing to work according to the assigned schedule.

• Able to work independently as well as as part of a team.

WORKING ARRANGEMENT

• Long-term part-time position.

• Working schedule will be arranged based on operational requirements and availability.

• Working hours are generally from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

• Work locations will be confirmed and may be assigned to different retail locations depending on business requirements.

• Salary is $15 per hour, with additional commission opportunities based on sales performance.
