JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for experienced and reliable Freelance Dishwashers / Stewards to support daily kitchen and venue operations. This is a regular part-time position suitable for individuals looking for flexible shift work and weekly payouts.

Candidates should be comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment and able to maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness and hygiene. You will be responsible for ensuring that kitchen equipment, cookware, utensils and other working areas are properly cleaned, organized and ready for use.

This is a part-time role and is not suitable for candidates looking for a full-time position.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform dishwashing and cleaning duties according to the required hygiene standards.
• Operate machine dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Wash, rinse and dry kitchen equipment, cookware, plates, bowls, cutlery, utensils and other items.
• Ensure all cleaned items are properly arranged and stored in their designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, washing area and surrounding workspaces.
• Clear and dispose of food waste and rubbish according to workplace procedures.
• Keep sinks, counters, floors and other working areas clean throughout the shift.
• Ensure sufficient clean equipment and utensils are available for ongoing kitchen operations.
• Assist with general stewarding duties when required by the supervisor.
• Retrieve kitchen items or supplies from storage areas, including high shelves where necessary.
• Handle heavy lifting and moving of kitchen equipment or supplies when required.
• Follow workplace safety, cleanliness and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Support the kitchen team during busy periods and assist with additional operational tasks.
• Complete other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents only.
• Previous experience in dishwashing, stewarding or kitchen support is required.
• Experience operating commercial or machine dishwashing equipment is preferred.
• Able to work independently while also supporting the wider kitchen team.
• Physically fit and comfortable standing for extended periods.
• Comfortable with repetitive cleaning and washing duties.
• Able to handle heavy lifting and retrieve items from storage areas when required.
• Responsible, punctual and dependable.
• Maintains good personal hygiene and a clean working environment.
• Able to follow instructions and workplace procedures carefully.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to assist colleagues when needed.
• Good attention to cleanliness and detail.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Willing to take ownership of assigned duties and complete tasks properly.
• Quick to learn and able to adapt to changing operational requirements.
