Salary: $2500/month

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assist with daily kitchen operations and ensure food preparation is completed efficiently and according to company standards.
• Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, meat, sauces and other food items for cooking.
• Assist in cooking and preparing food orders based on established recipes and portion standards.
• Ensure food is prepared consistently while maintaining good quality and presentation.
• Keep the kitchen, food preparation areas, equipment and workstations clean and organised at all times.
• Follow proper food handling, hygiene and safety procedures in accordance with NEA food safety requirements.
• Check ingredient and stock levels regularly and inform the supervisor when supplies are running low.
• Assist with receiving, storing and organising food ingredients and kitchen supplies.
• Ensure ingredients are properly stored and handled to maintain freshness and food safety.
• Support the kitchen team during busy periods and help ensure orders are prepared and served on time.
• Perform washing, cleaning and other general kitchen duties when required.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and carry out additional duties to support smooth daily operations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Basic food preparation and kitchen skills.
• Previous experience working in an F&B, food court, restaurant or kitchen environment is an advantage.
• Candidates without extensive experience may also be considered if willing to learn.
• Basic understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
• Willing to attend and obtain Food Safety Course Level 1 certification if required.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and remain organised during busy periods.
• Responsible, reliable and willing to learn new kitchen procedures.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
• Positive working attitude and willingness to support other team members when required.
