ABOUT THE ROLE

We are hiring Part-Time Dishwashers to join our third Chick-fil-A team in Singapore. You will support the kitchen team by keeping dishes, cookware and kitchen areas clean, sanitized and ready for use.

JOB SCOPE

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots and pans.
• Operate commercial dishwasher machines safely.
• Clean and maintain the dishwashing and kitchen areas.
• Sweep, mop and wipe down kitchen surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling bins.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with basic food preparation such as washing, peeling and chopping vegetables.
• Unpack and store food, utensils and cleaning supplies properly.
• Report equipment problems, safety hazards or maintenance issues.
• Assist other kitchen staff with duties when required.

DISHWASHER MACHINE MAINTENANCE

• Turn off and drain the machine after each shift.
• Remove food debris from filters, screens and traps.
• Clean wash and rinse arms and ensure spray holes are not clogged.
• Wipe and clean the machine interior, tank and doors.
• Clean the scrap basket/strainer and detergent/rinse-aid nozzles.
• Check dishwasher curtains and report damage or excessive grease buildup.
• Leave doors open after cleaning to allow proper air-drying and prevent mould or odour.

REQUIREMENTS

• No specific experience required; training will be provided.
• Previous kitchen, restaurant or cleaning experience is an advantage.
• Responsible, hardworking and willing to learn.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with cleaning and repetitive tasks.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Able to follow hygiene and safety procedures.
