BOOKSTORE RETAIL CASHIER – NORTH-EAST AREA, SINGAPORE

Position: Retail Cashier
Location: North-East Region, Singapore
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Schedule: 5 Days Per Week
Working Hours: 44 Hours Per Week
Salary: $2,450 – $2,500 per month

We are looking for friendly, responsible, and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Bookstore Retail Cashiers. This is a full-time opportunity suitable for candidates who enjoy working in a retail environment and interacting with customers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Operate the POS system and handle cashier transactions accurately
• Process customer purchases, payments, returns, and exchanges
• Provide friendly and professional customer service
• Assist customers with product enquiries and general assistance
• Arrange and display books and other merchandise neatly
• Replenish stocks and ensure products are properly displayed
• Assist with stock-taking and receiving new stock or orders
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
• Support daily store operations and sales activities
• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth store operations

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Positive and customer-focused attitude
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable working in a retail environment
• Able to work according to store operating hours
• Willing to work during peak periods, especially November and December
• Able to start work at short notice is an advantage
• Candidates with retail or cashier experience are welcome to apply

WORKING CONDITIONS:
• 5-day work week
• 1 weekday off and 1 weekend off
• 44 hours per week
• Retail working hours
• Full-time position
