TECHNICIAN / ENGINEER – HOSPITALITY / ELECTRICAL

Location: Central Singapore
Job Type: Contract | Shift Work
Salary: $3,150 – $3,500/month + Shift Allowance
Working Hours: 3 Rotating Shifts, starting from 7:00 AM

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults in guest rooms, public areas, and facilities.
• Maintain electrical panels, lighting, power distribution, generators, UPS, and emergency lighting.
• Support the operation and maintenance of HVAC, pumps, motors, and other electromechanical equipment.
• Conduct daily facility inspections and rectify defects promptly.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns.
• Carry out routine testing of fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and other safety systems.
• Assist with installation, modification, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance and repair works.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and equipment logs.
• Assist the engineering team with mechanical, plumbing, and general maintenance duties when required.
• Attend to guest maintenance requests professionally and efficiently.
• Identify recurring equipment issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Follow hotel SOP, safety regulations, electrical codes, and workplace standards.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum ITE Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Relevant experience in electrical, engineering, facilities, or building maintenance preferred.
• Hospitality or service industry experience is an advantage.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Able to start immediately or within a short notice period.
